Kim expresses delight and angst following election
Published on November 6th, 2008 Kim took to her official blog to share her views following the U.S Presidential Elections. Remember back in the day when I wore my Obama shirt? Yes, it is true: I was a supporter from the start! I have to say, I am beyond thrilled that Barack Obama was elected and I am looking forward to witnessing all of the historic change that his Presidency promises! The election wasn’t all thrills for me, however. I have been holding my breath today, hoping that California’s Prop 8 (which bans gay marriage) would not pass. But, unfortunately it has. I hear it is being challenged in the courts by civil rights groups and I’m hopeful our legal system will find Prop 8 unjust. Filed under Uncategorized |
