We have one episode left before the season finale and the Kardashians made sure we were treated to an explosive episode! ‘Blame it on the Alcohol’ certainly was filled with drama, drama and more drama and has since sparked a negative response amongst fans in regards to Kourtney’s boyfriend, Scott.

Kim and close friend, star of forthcoming ‘SPINdustry’, Jonathan Cheban are having a quiet dinner, enjoying their food and discuss Kim’s plans for her birthday. She says that she agreed to host her birthday at TAO in Las Vegas. Jonathan informs her that Kris rejected the offer on Kim’s behalf, prompting Kim to sort it out. She approaches Kris and tells asks her why she rejected the offer of hosting her birthday at TAO. Kris stresses that she thinks Kim deserves a break least of all on her birthday as she’s been working non-stop: between endorsing products or fronting her own brands and getting her foot in the fashion industry. Kim says she gave her word so this time, she’s going to honour her committment and host her birthday in Vegas. Kris informs her that she has her Carl’s Jr. commercial shoot the next day to no avail. Kris says that Kim has to accomodate the meetings Kris has scheduled if she wants them to go to Vegas. Meanwhile, everyone is noticing a change in Scott since Kris got him a job through her contacts: Kris pushes Scott because she wants him to succeed.

Kim and the family arrive in Vegas and Kim admires her incredible penthouse suite at the Venetian. Rob and Scott slip out and immediately hit the bar, Rob says they’re there to get drunk and have fun. Back at the suite, Kim’s plans to relax are foiled when she’s given the low down for the schedule of events at her birthday. The celebratory mood continues literally as Scott and Rob keep drinking and Rob brings up the subject of Kris’ distain for Scott, he says he doesn’t want to talk about her because he feels she has a problem with everything he does. The boys continue drinking, drinking and drinking!

It’s almost party time and Kim takes everyone out so she can go shopping before she has to get ready for her birthday. Khloe calls and informs Kris that Lamar is injured and she is going straight to Kim’s dinner. They continue to shop until Kim goes back to her suite for hair and make up, at the same time Rob and Scott come back and their drunken behaviour is a little… well, wreckless. Kim and Kourtney can hear the result of their drunken states. Rob then calls and meets a friend at the hotel, they all go and hang out in her room while Kim and the girls get ready, still drinking and Scott even smoking in doors. Inside ‘Paula’s’ room Scott’s behaviour is getting worse and he gets even more crude in his remarks. Rob goes back to his room to find Scott passed out in bed, the pair are still wasted and Kourtney suggests they sleep so they don’t have to deal with him that night. Whilst the girls are getting ready Scott and Rob’s behaviour is getting out of hand and Kourtney looks on unimpressed (rightfully so!). The pair start rough housing and play fighting, poor Kourtney just looks on. Kim says that the boys are taking the trip as some joke but it’s serious, it’s work. Kourtney tells them that they’re acting like drunken ‘slob-kabobs’ and Kim doesn’t need that at her birthday and they should respect that’s the reason they’re there… Continue reading the recap after the cut below!

…Kris arrives at the suite and is greeted by Rob and Scott fighting at her feet and champagne all over her that the guys knocked over her. She’s infuriated and pleads for them to pick themselves up. She cannot afford for them to show her up infront of people she’s meeting for business purposes. Kris reiterates her disappointment in Rob for his behaviour and being influenced by ‘certain’ people. She tells Kim that she will never have Scott on one of these trips again.

Meanwhile, there’s a possibility that Kim cannot get home in time for her Carl’s Jr. shoot the next day. Kris feels the pressure as she needs to deal with getting Kim a private plan back to LA, Khloe who’s stuck in LA and Rob. The drama has settled down as she finds herself looking after the guys, telling them to get back into the suite as business aquiantances are making their way there to meet Kris. ‘I hate him. I hate him.’ Kris sighs. Kourtney tells us that Scott is going to shower and sleep off his drunken state while they all go out to dinner.

It’s party time! Kim and the family head out for dinner prior to Kim’s birthday party at the TAO nightclub. They’re all having a great time until Scott shows up! He keeps on with his behaviour, making Kris’ business partner/Scott’s boss uncomfortable. They all toast to Kim’s birthday and Kris informs waiters that Scott is forbidden to have alcohol, only water. Scott is asking a waiter for vodka, but his requests fall on deaf ears, he then gets up and gets in the waiter’s face and shoves money in the waiter’s mouth! Everyone looks on shocked! Kris pleads for Kourtney to do something but what can she do? She needs to think about her baby and if Scott might be arrested, then so be it. Kim decides to deal with it herself and goes out to talk to Scott, but he doesn’t get that he’s done something way over the line. Kim tells Kourtney and she tells Kim that she’s done and will be leaving with her when they go home. Kim then goes on to host her party despite the mentally and emotionally exhausting day of events.

Kris flies back home as soon as possible and tells Bruce everything. Bruce rightfully responds that if he were there, he’d have decked Scott. Kim retreats to her suite in the early hours and finds that Scott hasn’t come back, leaving Kourtney alone. The next day as Kim and Kourtney make their way home from the airport, Scott and Rob wake up and Rob calls Kourtney who basically tells them that she’s done with him and he can move out of her house.

The Kim’s closing scenes show Kim at her Carl’s Jr. commercial shoot looking absolutely gorgeous but reveals that she’s exhausted. Kim realises that she can’t be a people pleaser and do everything all the time, at some point she has to take care of herself. Check out the screens via the links below!
