Today the California Supreme Court decided to uphold Prop 8, outlawing gay marriage in California. This really makes me sad. I thought we were more forward thinking than this, and I’m disappointed in the Supreme Court for being so closed minded. Everyone… gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, EVERYONE should have equal rights to marry who they want to. I have many gay friends and all I want is for them to be happy, yet this is just another obstacle in their way. Now they must continue fighting to be granted a basic civil right that many people take for granted. Shame on you, California! We must all continue to fight the h8!

Kim was recently interviewed by Look To The Stars where they asked her about the charities she supports and why she supports them. It’s a nice little interview and shows how much charity work Kim does!

Which charities do you support?
I am a heavy supporter of the Dream Foundation. My mom and stepdad are on the board. The Dream Foundation grants wishes to terminally ill adults. Every six months I do huge Ebay auctions through Auction Cause, where I give a portion of the proceeds to the Dream Foundation.

I also work closely with Russell Simmons and help him in his Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. A while ago I hosted his big charity event in Miami and we are planning a trip to Africa soon!

Why do you feel this is a worthy cause?

Kim has posted on her official blog about Octo-Mom, Nadya Suleman and the mother of 14′s expensive taste:

“Why is Octomom wearing my Jimmy Choo sunglasses!? I think it’s a little ridiculous that she claims she has no money and is on welfare to take care of her 14 children, yet she is out shopping and buying Jimmy Choo sunglasses!

I guess she’d rather spend her octo-dollars on accessories. Aren’t 14 accessories enough, Octomom?? Am I sensing a shopping addiction here? Khloe and Kourtney can hook you up with someone who can help you battle this!”

Kim Kardashian has said that she doesn’t care about leaked pictures of her with cellulite.

Snaps of the American socialite were accidentally posted on Complex magazine’s website, before being replaced a couple of hours later with Photoshopped images.

“Everyone has been putting up these pics from Complex magazine showing the comparison of the original un-Photoshopped photo that mistakenly was put up on complex.com,” wrote Kardashian on her official blog.

“Complex later replaced the pic with the Photoshopped version, causing all of this drama. But you know what, who cares!”

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added: “So what? I have a little cellulite. What curvy girl doesn’t? How many people do you think are Photoshopped? It happens all the time!

“I’m proud of my body and my curves and this picture coming out is probably helpful for everyone to see that just because I am on the cover of a magazine doesn’t mean I’m perfect.”

Kim has announced via her official website, that she is now a member of the Twitter community! Joining the hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of people who are now ‘micro-blogging’ through the site, Kim has finally deciding to join up after Mom, Kris and sister Kourtney wouldn’t ‘stop talking about it’.

Kim took to her blog to set the record straight regarding rumours about her giving up fur.

“Recently I have seen all of these blogs and magazine articles saying that I have given up fur. I definitely commend people who have taken that step to give it up, but to just be honest I have not.

Khloe did the new ad for PETA and that completely makes sense for her — she hasn’t eaten red meat in over ten years and it’s a because that’s close to her heart.

I haven’t bought any new furs since Khloe’s PETA ad but I definitely will not look like a hypocrite when I wear fur and people put up these fake stories about me turning over a new leaf and giving up fur!

These articles also stated that Reggie was going to dump me if I didn’t give up fur and that’s just not true. We went to Sundance last year and I have done interviews sharing a funny story about how I was wearing a fur vest there: As we drove up a hill to our Park City hotel we saw animal rights activists with cans of paint, protesting. Reggie rolled the window down yelling “she’s in here!” He was joking and certainly wouldn’t dump me over it.

I respect PETA to the fullest along with any other animal rights organizations. But I just wanted to set the record straight!”

Wearing fur is obviously a controversial subject and we want to know what you think.

Kim posted a response on her blog to a blog post made by Courtney Love regarding her brother Rob.

“Courtney Love wrote a disturbing blog this morning that is obviously very untrue…

Ms. Love immaturely called my brother Rob names and accused him of physically assaulting her “employee” at Hyde nightclub, breaking his nose.

This is TOTALLY FALSE!

A lot of what she wrote doesn’t even make much sense and doesn’t follow a clear train of thought… At one point she says Brody was there too and that someone yelled discriminatory expletives against gay people, but I honestly can’t figure out who she is accusing because her writing is so bad.

All I know is that both Brody and Rob didn’t do anything close to what Ms. Love has described.

My entire family’s response is this: We are so saddened to hear that someone is blogging this insanity on Christmas Eve. Everything this person writes is obviously untrue and we will forward this terrible nonsense to our attorneys. Merry Christmas!“

Our girl took to her official blog to put rumours to rest regarding several news reports. She writes:

“There are a bunch of reports about me on the web saying that I snubbed Hugh Hefner. They’re quoting me as saying, “It was a one-off. I don’t think I’ll do Playboy or anything like that again.”

I WAS TOTALLY MISQUOTED.

First of all, I have never used the term “one-off.” It’s simply not in my vocabulary.

UPDATE: I’ve read some of your comments and I feel like I need to clarify my point of view on the matter….

I’m not planning to pose for the magazine any time soon. My whole point in this post is to say I would never snub Hugh Hefner. I love him and his whole team were lovely to me and treated me like family.

Lately I have steered away from sexier shoots but it doesn’t mean I’m afraid to be sexy or ashamed of that. I have no regrets. One day you never know, but it’s not the direction I’m going in now.
