IGN TV: You knew a lot of people who had done reality shows before Keeping Up with the Kardashians began. Did that somewhat give you an idea what you were getting into or was it still a pretty big surprise to see how the process actually worked?

Kim Kardashian: It was definitely a surprise. I remember just hanging out with Paris and Nicole doing Simple Life stuff and watching them film it. Bruce [Jenner] was on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and so many different people I knew – my brothers, Brandon and Brody, were on a show called Princes of Malibu, and I was there for the filming of that. So you think you know. You get a glimpse of what it’s like. But you really don’t know until you’re there and the cameras are on 24/7. So I wasn’t really prepared, even though I thought I was.

IGN: I would think that an interesting part of doing this show with your family is that while all families fight, the difference for you is that after you make up, the fight will then be shown on TV a few months later and you’ll see it again. Does it sometimes cause those arguments to flair up again?

Kardashian: It does! It does flair it up again. I’ll watch things and be like, “See? You were so mean. I knew I was right!” It just brings up those feelings. Like when we were skiing – I saw that and it brought the feelings back again and I got all upset. “You shouldn’t have treated me that way”, or whatever. So when you watch episodes back later, you do feel it again. It is real and you’ll kind of argue for a second… and then get over it again.

IGN: On the flipside, does it help you see things from a different perspective, because the cameras might show how it affected the person you were arguing with?

Kardashian: Yeah, definitely. Watching it, you can be like, “Okay, I was a brat.” You can kind of see it from the other side too and try to watch the episode objectively outside of the situation. You can see both sides of it. Click here to read the full article… »

The first ever “MTV Cribs Awards” air on Saturday, March 7 at 1pm ET/PT. Kim Kardashian will host as MTV honors:

After all the awards are handed out, five brand new back-to-back episodes of MTV Cribs will air beginning at 2:30pm ET/PT. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has issued an apology for posting “insensitive” pictures of her family posing with their new pet chimpanzee in the same week a woman was brutally mauled by a crazed ape.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star posed with her mother, Kris, sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and 3-year-old chimp Suzy for the snap, which was posted on her Web site on Friday. (Click here for the photos.)

The siblings rented the chimp for a week as a prank on their mom, but their laughs were short lived when critics lashed out at Kim, who posted the snaps days after a 14-year-old, 200-pound chimp left 55-year-old Connecticut woman Charla Nash near dead on February 16.

Kardashian says, “I understand my timing was not appropriate and it was insensitive of me. What happened to the woman that was attacked by the chimpanzee was devastating. In no way did I mean to insult or offend anyone by posting these pictures.”

Nash remains in critical but stable condition in a Cleveland, Ohio, clinic.

The incident prompted Washington lawmakers to pass a bill on Tuesday banning the sale of chimps, gorillas, monkeys and orangutans across state lines.

Celebuzz held their own version of the Oscars… for reality television, with Kim and the family up for numerous categories after them and a whole host of reality television stars picked their best moments from their respective shows to put up for nomination. The Kardashians swept the board and won in every single category (rightfully so!). Speaking of the wins, Kim stated: “I am soooo honored that Keeping Up With the Kardashians has won every single category!!!! Wow, now I know you guys will definitely love season three!!!!”.

As some of you might know, Kim will be hosting live from the red carpet tonight at the Grammy Awards for the E! Network. Be sure to tune in tonight and check out Kim!

Kim took to her blog to set the record straight regarding rumours about her giving up fur.

“Recently I have seen all of these blogs and magazine articles saying that I have given up fur. I definitely commend people who have taken that step to give it up, but to just be honest I have not.

Khloe did the new ad for PETA and that completely makes sense for her — she hasn’t eaten red meat in over ten years and it’s a because that’s close to her heart.

I haven’t bought any new furs since Khloe’s PETA ad but I definitely will not look like a hypocrite when I wear fur and people put up these fake stories about me turning over a new leaf and giving up fur!

These articles also stated that Reggie was going to dump me if I didn’t give up fur and that’s just not true. We went to Sundance last year and I have done interviews sharing a funny story about how I was wearing a fur vest there: As we drove up a hill to our Park City hotel we saw animal rights activists with cans of paint, protesting. Reggie rolled the window down yelling “she’s in here!” He was joking and certainly wouldn’t dump me over it.

I respect PETA to the fullest along with any other animal rights organizations. But I just wanted to set the record straight!”

Wearing fur is obviously a controversial subject and we want to know what you think.

Come Sunday, most Americans will be watching the Super Bowl, eating junk food and rooting on their favorite team. Not Kim Kardashian: she’ll be doing leg lifts and crunches.

“I’m flying to L.A. first thing on Sunday morning to film my own fitness DVD on how to tone up and stay in shape for a curvy body,” Kardashian, 28, told PEOPLE Friday night at the 6th Annual Leather & Laces Super Bowl Party in Tampa. “It’s going to be a grueling day.”

So what exactly is on Kardashian’s agenda? “First of all, there’s a three-hour rehearsal where I have to do all the exercises over and over,” Kardashian explains. “Then I have to actually shoot the DVD. So I’ll be working out for hours on Sunday while all my friends are having fun.”

While the reality star didn’t originally plan on missing the game, a scheduling snafu forced her to make a tough decision. “When we first chose Feb. 1, we didn’t know it was the Super Bowl,” she says. “And after we realized it, I thought that this [video] was an important thing for me to do.”

And important for her target audience: curvier girls.

“For young girls to see exercise videos that have only skinny girls…well, that’s something they can’t attain,” says Kardashian. “I want this to be something that can be realistic for most girls.”

Kim Kardashian has told the media to stop criticising Jessica Simpson for her figure.

Simpson was ridiculed for her size in some American magazines following recent photos of her performing at Pembroke Pines, Florida.

“Call me crazy, but when I saw the picture [of Jessica] I was like, ‘Oh my God, Jessica looks hot!’” Kardashian told People.

“I actually love the outfit. I think she looks amazing. I love high-waisted jeans, I loved that belt, and her hair looked fabulous. I get that she does look curvier, but to me, there’s nothing wrong in it.”

When asked whether she still gets upset about comments regarding her own physique, she said: “It doesn’t really bother me anymore. I love curves. Being super skinny just isn’t attractive to me.

“When I saw that picture, I knew everyone was going to say something. And I thought, ‘You know what? Leave Jessica alone!’ She’s fabulous, she’s a really sweet girl, and I admire her for putting up with it.”

Jessica’s sister Ashlee wrote a blog post yesterday, claiming that she was “disgusted” by the media’s reaction to the snaps.
