Kim Kardashian is an American stylist, actress, celebutante/socialite, model, apparel retailer and television personality. She is perhaps best known for her social life and her role on the E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kim was born in Los Angeles, California and was the daughter of attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner.She is half Armenian on her father’s side and is of half Scottish-Dutch decent on her mother’s side. Robert Kardashian, is quite possibly best known for being O. J. Simpson’s lawyer during his infamous murder trial. Kim’s parents divorced in 1989 with Kris re-marrying later on to former Olympic athlete, Bruce Jenner in 1991. Robert Kardashian passed away on September 30, 2003.
Kim is also notable known for her extended family which includes four sisters, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie and a step sister Casey Jenner. She has one brother, Robert Jr. and two step-brothers; Burton Jenner and Brody Jenner, the latter known to the public through appearances in hit reality show ‘The Hills’.
In October 2007, ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ premiered on E! Entertainment. The show, a fly-on-the-wall reality television show, followed the exploits of the family members in their day to day lives. Each family member is known for a certain trait in their behaviour; for
example, Bruce is often labelled the typical father of the house, kept in the dark regarding certain situations and his authority.

Kim has appeared in various magazines, including Complex, King, J and Playboy.
As well as appearing in tons of magazines, Kim has also made appearances on the small screen including Fall Out Boy’s ‘Thanks for the memories’ music video.
Kim is rumoured to have reunited with former boyfriend of two years, New Orleans Saints running back, Reggie Bush.
While attending high school Kim worked at her father’s music marketing firm, Movie Tunes.
Kim has said the favourite part of her body is her toes, feet or butt; “I like the attention; I think it’s funny.”
Kim has often been the subject of rumours that her famous backside is a result of butt implants which she has denied strongly.
Kim performed with The Pussycat Dolls for the first time at PURE Nightclub, Las Vegas on August 15th 2008.
Reports were rampant last November when according to the U.K’s Daily Star, Britney Spears alledgedly admitted to fancying Kim at a Hallowe’en party. The popstar allegedly said: “I really love Kim’s butt, skin and hair. Kim is a real woman. A real horny beast.” Britney apparently made the claim during a party game in which guests had to name celebrities they would like to sleep with.
Kim was announced as one of the contestants for the 2008 season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, a highly popular reality television competition. Kim joins singer Toni Braxton and Lance Bass as contestants in the show.
