“There’s trouble in paradise for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West,” begins a piece from Star, which reports that an “old-fashioned” West “wants the pregnant star to change her name to Kim West once they presumably marry.”

According to the mag, not only has Kardashian said “no way” to taking the rapper’s last name, “But she may want their baby to have her name too!”

Say what?

A purported “insider” for the tabloid claims, “Kim told him she’ll always be a Kardashian,” revealing, “Kanye is very disappointed and upset about the whole thing, but Kim is refusing to budge.”

“She also thinks it’s a way to let him know that she is not after him for his money,” adds the alleged “source.”

Um…

What does taking or not taking West’s name have to do with money? That “explanation” makes ZERO sense.

Moreover, we’re fairly certain that West is not worried that his mega-rich girlfriend with whom he decided to have a baby is only with him because of his wealth.

Oh, and one more thing: Kardashian actually wanted to take Kris Humphries last name when they married, but Kris Jenner ultimately persuaded her against it for professional reasons.

That said, while Kardashian has not decided whether she will take West’s name — considering they are not even engaged — Gossip Cop is told the couple’s baby will certainly have its father’s last name.

“Kanye’s Set To DUMP PREGNANT KIM KARDASHIAN,” blares a “SUPER-DUPER MEGA WORLD EXCLUSIVE” (huh?) from MediaTakeOut.

The blog, which has falsely reported West was ditching Kardashian numerous times since they became a couple, now claims the rapper has “moved to Europe… to get away from her!!!”

A supposed “source” for the site alleges that West has been trying to “distance himself” from his pregnant girlfriend, noting, “Kanye was coming to Abu Dhabi for a concert and Kim wanted to come with him cause she loves that place. Ye didn’t allow her because he said it was dangerous for her to travel while pregnant.”

The purported “insider” adds that the “real reason” West didn’t invite Kardashian on the trip is that his friends are advising him to “show up less with Kim, because she’s always a bad look for his image.”

MediaFakeOut, which West has publicly slammed as “so f**kin’ full of sh*t,” further claims that the “Otis” singer is “moving to Paris for the next two months” to finish his album.

He’s allegedly told Kardashian to stay in Los Angeles to “give him space” until he “sorts things out,” says the so-called “source.”

OK…

So we’re supposed to believe that West, who excitedly announced Kardashian’s pregnancy at his concert in December and just purchased an $11 million mansion in Bel Air with her, is now ditching his girlfriend because he needs “space”?

Ha!

Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a Kardashian family friend, who tells us the blog’s story is laughably FALSE.

Kim‘s baby bump did seem to “pop outta nowhere” – we caught our first glimpse the night before when she headed to the gym.

On Thursday, Kim was spotted leaving the Tracy Anderson gym in Studio City, Calif. after her daily workout.

The 32-year-old pregnant reality star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before to chat about the latest season of her show Kourtney & Kim Take Miami and chatted about how she’ll keep her baby’s life private.

“When the baby is old enough and she or he decides that’s what they want to do, then that will be a decision,” Kim explained. “From the start, as of now, that’s just a personal choice that Kanye [West] and I have made. We’re going to try to keep it as private as possible.”

In Touch is still trying to convince the world it knows horrible secrets about Kris Jenner, even after last week’s allegations were exposed as desperate and false.

According to the tabloid, the late Robert Kardashian — Jenner’s ex and the father of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney — kept a “meticulous record of his then-wife’s shocking conduct” as their marriage came to an end.

The supposed “diaries” are said to “paint an ugly picture of the woman he married in 1978,” claims In Touch.

Among the “new” charges unearthed by the magazine are the suggestions that Jenner “didn’t want to have the children in the first place,” once twisted Kourtney’s arm during an argument, and sent flu-ridden Kim to a friend’s house so Jenner could spend time with her boyfriend.

The source for the diaries is Ellen Kardashian, whom Robert married shortly before his death and whom the late lawyer’s daughters blasted last week when the first batch of In Touch allegations emerged.

In Touch explains the Kardashians’ immediate debunking of the “diaries” as a signal that Jenner was “desperate” to keep her secrets under wraps, begging her daughters to “strike back by attacking” Ellen.

“Khloe refuses to believe the diaries are true,” a so-called “friend” explains to the tab. “But she’s in denial about everything in her life, including her troubled marriage.”

Oh, so that’s it.

When the Kardashians deny the garbage In Touch prints about them week after week, it’s because they’re in “denial”?

It has nothing to do with the fact that In Touch has proven itself to be largely incapable of publishing accurate stories about the family, being embarrassed over and over again by narratives that go nowhere and outrageous, sensational headlines of the worst kind.

The magazine’s “denial” of reality is deep and consistent.

Still, a week after the “diaries” allegedly exposing Jenner first surfaced, no one has verified that they say anything close to what In Touch and Ellen Kardashian claim.

They fly in the face of years’ worth of evidence to the contrary, with the close-knit Kardashian daughters and Jenner never saying or doing anything that would suggest a past of abuse or discontent.

The burden of proof falls on In Touch when it makes such reckless claims, and the tabloid has failed miserably.

A source close to the family tells Gossip Cop the mag’s latest allegations are “ridiculous as usual.”

The host surprised the mom-to-be and her sister Kourtney with a “Kongratulations Kim” banner, pink and blue balloons, and virgin mimosas.
